Description
Featured is a ceremonial robe used for the IOOF or the International Order of Odd Fellows. This is a dark blue velvet tunic robe with heavy embellishments. It was produced by the Ward-Stilson Company in New London, Ohio. This robe was for someone of the name Jonathan sz 40. It is adorned with gold bullion trim, metallic gold fringe, and embroidery. The fringe on the tassels are a metallic gold and the robe features shoulder pads. There are red rhinestones applied as a decoration along the sleeves and on the torso. Blue snap buttons and hook and eye closures are both used on the back to keep the robe secure. The lining is a vertically striped cotton. Significant toning, discoloration, and wear on the inside and out. There are rips along the lining by both underarms. The blue velvet has fading in several areas and there are many more cosmetic issues. The gold trim has darkened in color and so has the rhinestones. In house Flat Rate Shipping of $20 is a domestic shipping estimate for the first lot and includes insurance. We will gladly combine multiple lots for your convenience and economy. Each additional lot we can pack in the same box is $5-10 each.
