Description
Multi pieced 1920s evening attire set. Included is a long sleeve velvet dress, a silk and velvet slip, a black velvet overcoat, and a black velvet shawl. The shawl is short and simple and can be worn draped across the shoulders. The edges are rounded and aside from frayed ends, it is in good condition. Also included is a camisole made from silk and velvet. It has thin straps and snap buttons on the back. The bodice is tan while the other two portions are black. There are snap buttons on the back with a part where the fabric is ripped on the tan fabric. Horizontal beaded borders in silver at the bottom of the slip. There are several beads which has lifted or are no longer connected. There is a slit on the back of the dress. Laid flat: Length: 41.5″, Bust: 16″, and Waist: 17″. There are several lifted threads, visible discoloration in some spots, and fraying. There is a black drop waist dress with a short length and long sleeves. Inside, there are two snap buttons to secure the sleeves from being loose. The dress is black velvet and it includes intricate silver beadwork along the length of the dress on the front, back, and sleeves. On the side, there are several black snap buttons as well to keep the dress securely closed. It is in good condition but there are some loose or missing beads. Laid flat: Length: 35″, Shoulders: 12″, Bust: 16″, Sleeves: 22″, Waist: 18″. Also included is a rather intricate black velvet jacket that can be worn over the dress. It has a cream velvet collar attached. Along the front, detailed beadwork is included with silver beading of flowers on the front and back. The top of the jacket has smaller flowers while along the bottom, they are bigger in size with beads in black incorporated. Snap buttons line the front of the jacket. There are loose beads but not too many. Pink marks are visible on the cream velvet collar. Inside, there are visible discoloration marks underneath the black accent work which can also slightly be seen on the outside. Laid flat: Length: 37″, Shoulders: 18″, Bust: 25″, and Sleeves: 24″.
