It is worn by Akha women and it features intricate detailing. There are beads, coins, cowrie shells, and embroidered fabric. Flowers are created with the cowrie shells and there are thin metal sheets attached to the three robes worn under the neck. The fabric is made from cotton and most of the dye has faded. Also included is another Akha hat by the Akha Hill Tribe. It is a ceremonial headdress with metal plates, embroidery, beads, and feathers. The embroidery is in geometric forms and the decorations are attached with a string. Toning and fading are present. Also, there is a green hat stand included.
