Description
5 vintage Hungarian folk art aprons which are now pieces. There are 4 pieces with black applique and one piece with Folk Artists V written in Hungarian. The piece with the Hungarian embroidered on it is a tapestry which can hang with the two ropes attached at the top and it features a flower. It has embroidery in tan, blue, pink, and what appears to be a goldish bronze with a fringe at the bottom in the same color. It measures 10.75″x14.25″ with a 2″ fringe. There are 4 other pieces with embroidery and applique and the rest additionally have fringe on the bottom. The pieces have Measurements: 23.5″x15″ with 4.5″ fringe, 9″x14.5″ with a 3″ fringe. 15.5″ long with a 3″ fringe, and 14.5″ with a 3″ fringe. There are pockets on one apron sample. The pieces feature embroidery of flowers in pink, white, blue, purple, green, and other vibrant colors on top of black wool. There is a small rip on one and the edges are scalloped with triangles. They are in good condition. This was part of a NYC Archival Collection of Textiles for reproduction and inspiration purposes. In house Flat Rate Shipping of $20 is a domestic shipping estimate for the first lot and includes insurance. We will gladly combine multiple lots for your convenience and economy. Each additional lot we can pack in the same box is $5-10 each.
