Description
There is a Chinese silk panel with hand embroidery and characters that loosely translates to One Hundred Birds. There are various birds flying or perched, a colorful phoenix, and natural elements like trees and water which all symbolizes harmony and good fortune. The thread is silk and it used on a silk base. The style is characteristic of Guangdong embroidery which was popular during the Qing Dynasty and Republic Period. There are some age spots on the panel and some toning. Otherwise in good condition. Also included is a panel depicting the Great Wall of China. It was produced at the Hangzhou Weaving and Printing Factory in China. It was produced in the 1970s using silk weaving techniques. Some spots on the side but Otherwise in good condition. In house Flat Rate Shipping of $20 is a domestic shipping estimate for the first lot and includes insurance. We will gladly combine multiple lots for your convenience and economy. Each additional lot we can pack in the same box is $5-10 each.
