Description
Included are fashion plates dedicated to hats from the early 19th century. There are 14 pieces of fashion plates from 1816-1819 and 6 fashion plates from 1820-1829. The majority of the fashion plates are from Wiener Moden Zeitung which was the first fashion magazine published in Vienna being founded in 1816. This magazine was a weekly publication that attracted middle class women with their fashionable hats and bonnets in varying styles. The fashion plates included typically depicts a woman’s head in the center with a hat on and 4 floating hats surrounding her. These plates show signs of their age with toning and age spots but are otherwise in good condition. In house Flat Rate Shipping of $20 is a domestic shipping estimate for the first lot and includes insurance. We will gladly combine multiple lots for your convenience and economy. Each additional lot we can pack in the same box is $5-10 each.
