Description
Vintage c1950 Sawtooth Star Quilt measuring 73 by 84 inches. It is comprised of 49 Sawtooth Stars, 6.5 by 6.5 inches, set straight, 7 by 7, with 3.5″ solid purple sashing and white cornerstones. The sashing and cornerstones continue along 2 sides. There is a 1.5 inch purple inner border and a one inch white border. It is hand and machine pieced and hand quilted. Thin cotton batting and an off white cotton reverse. The edge is finished with an applied purple binding.
