Description
Antique c1880 Indigo Star Quilt, we were unable to find this in any of our resources! It measures 73 by 67 inches. It is comprised of 36 pieced blocks, 7 by 7 inches, set on point, 6 by 6, with white setting squares and triangles. There is a 2.5 inch indigo with white dot border, followed by a 2.25 inch solid white border, followed by a 2.25 inch indigo with white star border along 2 sides and 1.5 inches along the other 2 sides. It is hand pieced and hand quilted. Thin cotton batting and an off white cotton reverse. The edge is finished with an applied white fabric binding.
