Description
Antique 1839 Figured and Fancy Coverlet made for Margarent Van Hoosen. It measures Please 75 by 90 inches. With mostly flower and leaf wheel motifs in the field, a rococo leaf style inner border, and additional flowers and leaves in the outer borders. Each corner states the date 1839 A.D. and one corner states who it was made for, Margaret NVan Hoosen. There is a hand stitched seam down the center. Woven with indigo blue wool and natural linen.
