Description
Vintage c1940 Pansy Quilt measuring 67 by 84 inches. It is comprised of 9 Pansy blocks, 15 1/2 by 15 1/2 inches, set straight, 3 by 3 with 6.5 inch purple vertical stashing and 14 inch purple horizontal stashing. There is a 4 inch solid purple border. It is machine pieced, hand embroidered, and hand quilted. Thin cotton batting and a solid purple reverse. The edge is finished with an applied purple fabric binding. by machine zig zag stitch.
