Description
Vintage c1940 Green Basket Quilt measuring 79 by 81 inches. It is comprised of 25 blocks, 14 by 14 inches, set straight, 5 by 5, with a 4.5 inch white border. With 12 basket blocks and 13 alternating hand embroidered quatrefoil motif blocks. It is hand pieced, hand appliquéd, hand embroidered, and hand quilted. Thin cotton batting and a white cotton reverse. The edge is finished with an applied green fabric binding.
