Description
Vintage c1960 Star of Bethlehem Quilt measuring 62 by 81 inches. The 60 degree diamonds measure about 2.5 inches along one side and there is a 9.5 inch orange check border along 2 sides. It is hand and machine pieced, machine appliquéd, and machine quilted. A thin blanket is used on the inside for batting. The reverse is a blue and green floral print fabric. The edge is finished with the back brought to the front and applied by machine, zigzag stitch. Workmanship is primitive.
