Description
c1880 Lattice and Square Variation Quilt, and finished about 15 years ago by Mennonite Ladies in Ohio. It measures 69 by 72 inches. It is comprised of 121 pieced blocks, 3.5 by 3.5 inches, set on point, 11 by 11, with solid off white setting squares and triangles. There is a 1.5 inch solid red border followed by a 2.5 inch red and white zigzag border followed by a one inch solid cheddar border. It is hand pieced and hand quilted. Thin cotton batting and an off white cotton reverse. The edge is finished with an applied red fabric binding. Very unique block and graphic colors!
