Description
Antique 1920s Grandmother’s Flower Garden Quilt. It measures 48 inches by 56 inches with a 2 inch green border. The classic honeycomb pattern is made from hexagonal fabric patches . There is a green pleated border around the quilt and the backing features a light paisley pattern in yellow, green, blue, orange, and white. The fabrics used for the honeycombs are made from different colored and patterned silks and velvets. T
Condition report:
here are several areas where the silk has torn due to age. There are several rips along the front and the backing has holes and rips as well. This quilt can be upcycled for other projects as a result of the wear. In house Flat Rate Shipping of $30 is a domestic shipping estimate for first lot and includes insurance.
