Description
Vintage c1920 2 Sided Quilt measuring 54 by 75 inches. Ocean Waves comprised of 20 blocks, 13 by 13 inches, set straight, 4 by 5, with partial block setting pieces. The squares are circa 1930s with all surrounding triangles mostly indigo, shirting, and red prints from about 1890. It is hand pieced and hand tied. Thick cotton batting or possibly blanket inside. The edge is finished knife edge style along 3 sides and back to front along the 4th side. The reverse is a 1930s 9 patch comprised of 35 blocks, 7.5 by 7.5 inches, set straight, 5 by 7, with 3.5″ plain feed sack sashing, lavender cornerstones. There is a 3 inch plain feed sack border along 2 sides. It is hand and hand tied in burgundy and light blue your.
Condition report:
Both sides are in good condition with several small spots and discolorations. In house Flat Rate Shipping of $30 is a domestic shipping estimate for first lot and includes insurance.
