Description
Antique c1890 Bear Paw Quilt measuring 49 by 74 inches. It is comprised of 24 blocks, 9 by 9 inches, set on point, 4 by 6 with solid white setting squares and triangles. It is hand pieced and hand quilted. Thin cotton batting and off white cotton reverse. The edge is finished with a clarinet print binding. It is in good condition with water marks along one edge, discoloration from brown dye and from the claret dye.
