Description
Antique c1845 Wool Challis Log Cabin Crib Tie Comfort Quilt measuring 39 by 46 inches. It is comprised of 16 blocks, 9 1/2 by 9 1/2 inches, set straight, 4 by 4, with a 5 1/2 pieced border along the top. It is hand pieced and hand tied, medium loft cotton batting and a blue cotton reverse. The edge is finished with the same blue fabric applied binding. The center of each log is a solid purple and other fabrics include Prussian blue solid Prussian blue prints plush Prussian green and other wonderful wool challis prints.
Condition report:
It is in fair condition with several small holes, fading, and minor fabric deterioration. In house Flat Rate Shipping of $20 is a domestic shipping estimate for first lot and includes insurance.
