Description
Antique c1890 Slashed Album Quilt measuring 66 by 73 inches. It is comprised of 25 blocks, 10.5 by 10.5 inches, set straight, 5 by 5, with 2.5 inch pink print sashing and red with polka dot cornerstones. There is a 1.5 inch indigo print border with red polka dot cornerstones. It is hand pieced and hand quilted. Thin cotton batting and a white cotton reverse. The edge is finished with the back brought to the front and applied by hand.
Condition report:
It is in fair condition with overall toning, spots, and some fabric deterioration. The white reverse may be a replacement. There is much more hand quilting on the front than there is on the back. In house Flat Rate Shipping of $30 is a domestic shipping estimate for first lot and includes insurance. We will gladly combine multiple lots for your convenience and economy.
