Description
2 Antique c1850 Album Quilts with Name Inscriptions. Quilt with green sashing measures 64×88″, hand pieced and hand quilted. Each block has an inked signature, no dates or location found. Possibly NY or NJ. Some names include: William Reynolds, Patty Reynolds, Polly Tallmage, Sarah Tripp and more. Poor condition with fading and fabric deterioration, but really great variety of prints including Turkey Red, madders, early purple and more. Along with another Album Quilt, 74×84″, with lots of Prussian Blue and Turkey Red Fabrics, but has been washed and is falling apart, and signatures are very faded. A few names include John Thomas, Mary Jane Grant, Deborah Jane Thomas, James Wilson and more. In house Flat Rate Shipping of $35 is a domestic shipping estimate for first lot and includes insurance.
