Description
Antique 1870 Rolling Star Quilt measuring 70 by 89 inches. It is comprised of 20 blocks, 11 by 11 inches, set on point, 4 by 5, with plain white setting squares and triangles. There is a 7 inch plain white solid border. It is hand pieced and hand quilted. Thin cotton batting and a white cotton reverse. The edge is finished with an indigo and white dot.applied binding, by machine. The bottom left in petit point embroidery are the initials CCS and the date February 24, 1870. Really nice double line quilting throughout the entire quilt. In house Flat Rate Shipping of $30 is a domestic shipping estimate for first lot and includes insurance. It is in fair condition with several spots and discolorations overall edge wear, small holes and a few unstitched seams. US Shipping $30
