Description
Includes a c1910 Kansas Dugout Quilt, Measuring 75 by 78 inches. 2.5 inch off white on point squares are surrounded with red and blue striped fabrics. Very patriotic aesthetic. It is hand pieced and hand quilted. Thin cotton batting and an off white cotton reverse. The edge is finished with the back brought to the front and applied by hand. It is in poor condition with fading toning, spots, and a few torn fabrics. Along with an unusual c1890 7 Point Star quilt, with the star segments comprised of diamonds and set within a circle. It measures 72 by 79 inches. It is hand pieced, and hand quilted in Baptist fan motif. Thick cotton batting and a brown woven plaid reverse. The edge is finished with the front brought to the back and applied by hand. The quilt is in poor condition with fading, fabric deterioration, holes, and edge wear.
