Description
Antique c1920 25 Square Block Quilt measuring 65 by 72 inches. It is comprised of 16 blocks, 8.5 by 8.5 inches, set straight, 4 by 4, with 4.5 inch double pink sashing. There is a triple inner border, 5 inches wide, of white, double pink, and white. And a 4.5 inch outer border on 2 sides and 6.5 inch on 2 sides of double pink print. It is hand and machine pieced and hand quilted. Thin cotton batting and a white cotton reverse. The edge is finished with the front brought to the back, applied by hand. The block has a unique construction, with each block having been constructed as a triangle, there is a day a diagonal line through the center of the block. This is a lot of extra work for the quilter who could’ve just made more squares. In house Flat Rate Shipping of $30 is a domestic shipping estimate for first lot and includes insurance.
