A beautifully curated collection of botanical materials spanning early–mid 20th century and later fine art reproductions. Includes two 1939 hand-colored plates, along with seventeen mounted copies of floral artworks, several after notable artists such as Simmons and George Sheringham. Also included is a 1932 horticultural catalog, Roses by Bobbink & Atkins, featuring period rose varieties and gardening information. The group further contains a hardcover 1960s edition of Bouquet by Jean Louis Prévost (1760–1810), may be incomplete (all pages are separated from the book) with 25 color plates reproducing Prévost’s celebrated botanical illustrations. Additional materials include several pages from the antique German publication Zauber der Rose, offering biographical notes and commentary on various botanical artists.
