Description
4 Vintage Linen Placemat Sets. There are 4 linen placemat sets with napkins that are included in this lot with one being pink. There are 4 placemats and 4 napkins included in a set by B. Altman and Co. They are all linen with cotton embroidery that comprises two flowers on diagonal edges with leaves. The napkins have the same design on one edge and the placemats and napkins feature crochet lace edges. There are 16 pieces in the next set with 8 placemats and 8 napkins. Each piece features ecru embroidery, cutwork, and ecru lined edges. Floral motifs are on one edge of the napkins but are on the edges of the placemats. There is a pink linen set with 4 placemats, 4 napkins, and 1 small table cover. The pieces feature hemstitching. At a lighter hue is a pink linen tablecloth that measures 33″x 33″ which features hemstitching, cutwork, and floral motif embroidery. The last set included 8 placemats and 8 napkins. The set is white linen with the placemats having a crochet lace scrollwork edge which is seen on one corner of the napkins. There are several spots and some discoloration on a few pieces. Battenburg tape lace, cutwork, and some needle lace can be seen. In house Flat Rate Shipping of $15 is a domestic shipping estimate for the first lot and includes insurance.
