A collection of seven silk scarves, predominantly from Italy and Japan. The lot includes a grey silk scarf with a geometric floral motif, featuring grey and gold tones. Also present is a Christian Dior scarf with an abstract geometric grid pattern in black, red, yellow, and white, labeled ‘100% ALL SILK MADE IN ITALY’. A John Wanamaker scarf displays an op-art pattern of black and white stripes with radiating starbursts, labeled ‘MADE IN JAPAN EXPRESSLY FOR John Wanamaker’. A yellow scarf with traditional medallion patterns and fringed edges is identified by a metal clip marked ‘100% SETA’ / ‘MADE IN ITALY’. An Anne Fogarty for David E. Schwab scarf features a classic blue and white floral print, labeled ‘ALL SILK MADE IN JAPAN’. A Talbots scarf presents an ornate baroque design in grey and gold, labeled ‘100% SOIE SILK MADE IN ITALY’. Completing the collection is a vibrant Costantino Roma scarf with a Kente-cloth inspired motif in multiple colors.
