Description
This lot comprises approximately 16 brooches/pins and one locket/brooch, varying in style from modern geometric and abstract designs to classic figurative pieces. The collection includes two cameos, one with a white figure on a black ground and another with a pink figure on a light ground. Also present is a locket with an interior image of a couple, and a double heart-shaped pin. Materials primarily consist of base metal with gold-toned or silver-toned finishes. Specific pieces are marked as “DAMASQUINADO DE TOLEDO” (Damascene from Toledo) with “ORO 24 KTS. INCRUSTADO” (24 KTS. GOLD INLAID) on a copper base, or guaranteed by a “Made in Spain” label to be “ORO de 24 KTS.” (24 KTS. GOLD) plated on first-grade copper with 1.2 microns of gold. Other visible markings include “© SARAHCOV” and “© B. PEARL”, along with “MADE IN THAILAND” on one packaged item, and “BROOCH FRAME by A.K. INTERNATIONAL”.
