Peacock Octagon Medallion Quilt measures 72×70″ Ellen was inspired by a quilt pictured in Quilt Engagement Calendar Treasury, pg. 129 , a pieced and applique crib quilt, Medallion Broderie Perse, 1830-1840, found in NY State. She said the diamonds and triangles were a challenge to fit! Many of the reproduction fabrics used include bird motifs. It is machine pieced, machine appliqued, and machine quilted. Lots of dots made with Applipops, many pieces fussy cut, see the bird in the corner?! The quilt is in excellent condition with excellent workmanship.
