Description
Clamshell Medallion Quilt is Ellen’s version of the Ann Randoll Coverlet from the V&A Museum. This measures 92×92″. The center is a basket with flowers, surround by Broderie Perse birds. Frames include dog teeth, scallop, and an applique stem with leaves ending in a yellow flower cornerstone. Outer frames include pinwheels and a wonderful clamshell border. It is machine pieced, machine appliqued, and machine quilted. The quilt is in excellent condition with excellent workmanship. The quilt is believed to have been completed in 2015.
