Description
Bigg’s Wedding Medallion Quilt measures 85×85″. The center block is not part of the original Bigg’s quilt pattern. This was inspired by a picture of a small quilt from a red and green quilt exhibit posted many years ago which Ellen used for the center. The sampler applique blocks were part of a Block of the Month by Just Takes 2, Sentimental Stitches, based on the Benjamin Biggs Wedding Quilt, 1848. It is machine pieced, machine appliqued, and machine quilted. Beautiful quilting! The quilt is in excellent condition with excellent workmanship.
