Description
Beyond the Cherry Trees is a Sentimental Stitches Block of the Month interpretation with 13 applique sample blocks, set on point with sawtooth frames. The undulating vine border also has a sawtooth frame and then end in each corner with a flower basket. Ellen has her initials ESR appliqued on top, and the date 2010 along the bottom. It is machine pieced, machine appliqued, and machine quilted. Many 19th century reproduction fabrics were used in this quilt with many shapes fussy cut to the print. The quilt is in excellent condition with excellent workmanship. The quilt is signed and dated 2010 by Ellen Rosenbach on the reverse. Please see the About This Auction for her story!
