Description
Japanese Fabrics Applique Quilt 2008 was inspired by a quilt posted online of a picture taken at Sisters, Oregon quilt show hanging outdoors on a building. It measures 96×98″. 9 blocks with blue print stars, with the points ending in a flower shape. The corner of each block has appliqued flowers on stems and leaves and buds. The beige floral toile border is flanked with blue print dogteeth and green print dogteeth. It is machine pieced, machine appliqued, and machine quilted. Ellen used many Japanese fabrics, but also several batik fabrics. The quilt is in excellent condition with excellent workmanship. Please see the About This Auction for her story!
