Description
Springtime Bouquets Applique Quilt measuring 74.5 x 74.5″ and inspired by an applique quilt pictured in the Quilt Engagement Calendar Treasury called Applique Quilt c. 1855. It is comprised of four large bouquets surrounding a center flower medallion, with a floral garland border within an inward facing green scalloped border set on a floral ground. The numerous leaves, petals and applipops are masterfully machine pieced, machine appliqued and machine quilted with a white cotton reverse. The quilt is in excellent condition with excellent workmanship. The quilt is believed to have been completed in 2022. Please see the About This Auction for her story!
