Description
Burr Oak Medallion Quilt with swags inspired by a border on a vintage quilt at the NC Museum of Art and MESDA exhibit in Raleigh. The center is an elongated burr oak block from the book “When the Cold Wind Blows,” by Blackbird Designs. It measures 66×80″. It is machine pieced, machine appliqued, and machine quilted. Ellen’s initials are at the top, and the year 2024 along the bottom. There are layers of circle motifs, open leafy swags, and other complicated applique motifs.
