Description
Delaines Dresden Plate Medallion and Peacocks Quilt. This quilt was inspired by a Karen Cunningham trundle quilt. It contains a large Dresden plate center with many bold blue print fabrics and is surrounded by concentric borders containing doves, hexagon flowers, Delaines swags, sunbursts, and half square triangles, with a reproduction peacock print outer border. It measures 70×83″, has a cotton print reverse, and it is machine pieced, machine appliqued and machine quilted. There is a label on the reverse and a small hang tag pinned to the top. The quilt is in excellent condition with excellent workmanship. The quilt is signed and dated “Ellen Rosenbach 7-2-12” on the bottom corner on the reverse.
