Description
Wendys Flower Garden with Piano Steps Quilt. This quilt is comprised of Grandmothers Flower Garden patch of hexagon flowers in the center, surrounded by a piano step border with corner squares containing a single hexagon flower. There is also an inner border with a hand appliqued garland with flowers. The quilt was created with many vintage fabrics gifted by one of Ellen’s family members. It measures 80×81″. It is hand appliqued, hand and machine pieced and machine quilted. There is a pink floral reverse with an applied embroidered label with “Ellen S. Rosenbach” and “June 16, 2000.” The quilt is in excellent condition with excellent workmanship. Please see the About This Auction for her story!
