Description
Auntie Green, Ann Daggs, and Ellen R Quilt. This quilt is a combination of Aunt Green’s Quilt by Carolyn Konig who reproduced an 1860-1880 antique quilt and a Di Ford Anne Dagges 1818 reproduction quilt. It is hand and machine pieced, machine appliqued, and machine quilted. Ellen specialty cut the fabrics in the birds so a flower or small motif can be interpreted as an eye. There is so much complicated work in this quilt and many reproduction prints! It measures 88×96″ and was finished in 2012. The quilt is in excellent condition with excellent workmanship.
