Description
Pair of Vintage Gold and Baltic Amber Brooches. The lot includes a pair of vintage Baltic amber and gold brooches. Featuring a 10K yellow gold spider brooch with 6.3mm round amber cabochon head and a 23.4mm x 17.5mm pear shaped amber abdomen with a hinged bar closure at the back. It has a partially visible Russian gold mark and tested as 10K. The brooch is in fair condition with crazing on the amber elements. Also included is a vintage 1.88” x 1.40” brooch in the form of a bunch of grapes with possibly 9K yellow gold stem, findings, and a hinged bar closure at the back. There is a Russian gold mark but we were unable to identify it, the piece acid tested as a lower carat than 10K. In good codntion with light surface wear. If you have any doubt, please ask questions!
