4 Antique Gold Filled and Gold Tone Brooches. The lot includes a mix of four late 19th century gold filled/gold tone brooches. Featuring a 1.38” x 1.27” gold filled brooch in an elaborate setting consisting of scrollwork and leaf accents with a 21mm x 17mm oval hand carved shell cameo depicting Rebecca at the well. It has a hinged bar closure with a C clasp and is in good condition with general age related wear. A 1.17” x .90” gold tone beetle brooch with an abdomen set with a 12mm x 9mm oval citrine, a thorax set with a 1mm rose cut round garnet, and two 1mm garnet eyes. It has a hinged bar closure with a C clasp. In fair condition with general age related wear. A .98” x .56” oval orange glass cameo set east to west in a gold filled wire setting with a bar closure with a C clasp at the back. In fair/poor condition with chips to the outer edge of the cameo. Also included is a 1.53” x .57” brass buckle bar brooch with a center pearlized celluloid slab and a hinged bar closure with a C clasp. In fair/poor condition with some warping to the brass buckle.
