Description
Antique c1910-1920 Printed Silk Shawl and Bag. There is an antique silk shawl c1910-1920 which is a golden hue with flowers as a decoration and a small silk drawstring bag. The shawl is Cheney silk and it has green fringe at the edges of the piece. The flowers are a dark gold and pink color with some white and green as a decoration. The bottom of the flowers shows a gate like structure that serves as a border for the flowers and the rest of the solid colored shawl. The knotted fringe at the ends has some fading of the green and the shawl has a hole. The drawstring bag is floral printed and it is from the same 1910-1920 era. The silk bag has a colorful fringe tassel at the end with colors that matches those of the bag. The drawstring itself is also colorful and it displays a blend of the colors used on the bag as well. The lining is a pinkish red hue that matches the outside and it is in good condition. The shawl is 31″x105″ with a fringe that ranges from 2-3.5″.In house Flat Rate Shipping of $30 is a domestic shipping estimate for first lot and includes insurance.
