Description
19th Century Chintz, Swatches, and Other Pieces. There are 21 pieces of 19th century chintz, swatches, and other pieces that are included with a focus on floral designs. The pieces range in size with some being small fragments of a larger piece to others having yardage. Most of the pieces which are included are loose textiles with there being a few pieces which are mounted on paper. There is a 19th century French toile which is included and that piece is mounted on white paper with several holes and splits. Included as well are 3 pieces of fragmented fabric which are mounted on black paper. The pieces are in fair condition with rips, holes, and discoloration. The textiles are generally in good condition for their age with florals, animals, vases, geometrics, and more. There are several repeats which are included. Some spotting, toning, small holes, and other issues can be seen primarily on the mounted pieces. In house Flat Rate Shipping of $30 is a domestic shipping estimate for first lot and includes insurance. We will gladly combine multiple lots for your convenience and economy.
