Description
Antique c1850 9 Patch Quilt measuring 78 by 82 inches, with 17 by 18 bed post corners at the bottom. It is comprised of 73 9 patch blocks, 8 by 8 inches, set straight, 7 by 9. There is a 121.5 inch double pink print sashing. It is hand pieced and hand quilted. There is thin cotton batting and an off white reverse. The edge is finished with an applied pink print binding. It is in good condition with just a few small spots. I think the pink polka dot fabric in 4 blocks may be a conservation effort. This quilt has a wonderful variety of mid 19th century, and earlier, printed cotton fabrics including chintz, Prussian blue, and much more. In house Flat Rate Shipping of $30 is a domestic shipping estimate for first lot and includes insurance. We will gladly combine multiple lots for your convenience and economy.
