Description
Antique c1880 Courthouse Steps Baby Quilt measuring 43 by 44 inches. It is comprised of 25 blocks, 7 by 7 inches, set straight, 5 by 5, with a 4 inch bright orange border. The quilter used the bright orange to contrast the prints and other solid in the block so the steps appear to float. It is machine pieced and hand quilted. Thin cotton batting and a solid green reverse. The edge is finished with an applied green solid binding. It is in good condition with a few small discolorations. The backing and quilting may be more recent, in the mid 20th century. In house Flat Rate Shipping of $20 is a domestic shipping estimate for first lot and includes insurance.
