Description
Antique Hand Beaded Textile with Fringe and intricate beading. The beading is in varying colors with white, blue, red, yellow, orange, and more colors being featured on the panel. The textile has three sections which are a solid strip of fabric, the beaded strip, and the fringe in yellow. There are several spots where the thread has loosened resulting in many beads slipping from the fabric. The center of the piece would have been where the pattern mirrors itself as some of the remaining beading is the flipped version of what remains. The uppermost panel of the textile showcases several holes in the fabric in varying sizes and significant toning. Many of the threads are loose and several spots lack the proper beading this is reflected in other areas. It is 9.5″x68″ with a 2″ fringe. The piece itself shows potential to be repurposed.
