Description
Group of 10 Vintage Compact Mirrors. The lot consists of a group of 10 vintage compact mirrors. Featured is a group of 10 vintage compact mirrors with all being square or rectangular shapes in gold tones. Each compact featured an engraving or raised design on the lid with one having a white cover with flowers on it. There are several names that are featured in this lot with those including Volupte, Coty, La Mode, Allied Chemical, Dosset, and Ritz. The compact mirror with the white lid has a cracked mirror and it opens by pushing out the raised part in order for the compact to lift up. There are three squared compact mirrors where each has flowers etched on the lid in varying sizes and each opens with the push of a button. By Volupte is a gold tone mirror with a raised flower and gems on the petals. Included as well on the lids is a youthful figure playing an instrument, etched stripes, a royal crown, a pensive man on a stone, and a flight of birds. The flight of birds has the colors blue, red, and black on the lid and there are deer at the bottom of the forest scene with birds flying above. The lot is in good/fair condition with some rusting and a broken mirror. If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to ask.
