Description
Group of 15 Vintage Compacts and Brooches. The lot consists of 15 vintage compacts and brooches. Featured are 12 vintage compacts, two Brooches, and one small pill container. The compacts and Brooches are palm sized and fit delicately on the center of your hand. The compacts that are included are primarily for makeup, with several of them having makeup brushes or residue inside of them. Of those included, four of the compacts are squares and eight of them are circular. They are in an assortment of colors with gold being featured throughout the compacts alongside white. Max Factor, Avon, Elizabeth Post, Barbara Gould, and Germaine Montel are some of the names that are featured on the backs of the compacts. The majority are in good/fair condition with scratches, faded colors, makeup residue, rusting, or other issues that does not affect its usability. There are two Brooches that are included with one being an owl and the other a leaf. Both are gold and the owl comes in its original Avon box. The owl featured tiered feathers and emerald stone eyes. The leaf has etchings on it to be as realistic as possible and both are in excellent condition. Included as well is a gold duck that can be used as a compact pill storage. It opens up on the chest but it is missing a secure clasp to keep it closed. The hollow interior can hold small objects inside but not at a great quantity. Overall, the lot is in good/fair condition.
