Description
Two Vintage Small Bags. The lot consists of two vintage small bags. Featured are two vintage small bags with one being a vintage 1960s bag from Spain with an 18th century pastoral depiction and a beaded silver clutch. There is a silk Tano of Madrid evening bag with an 18th century artistic depiction of one side. The lining of the purse is black silk and it has two small pockets on the sides of the bag. The bag was made in Spain and it has a gold clasp with four black leaves on it. The pictorial depiction is reminiscent of Antoine Watteau who was known for his French Rococo paintings. The scene depicts a group of women in 18th century attire pressed up against a column with a few children, men, and animals on the foreground and background. There is a small black handle that is attached as well. It is in good condition with some wear along the gold of the bag. it is 5.25″x7″x0.75″ when it is closed. The other bag that is included is a silver beaded clutch. The clutch was made in China and it comes with a box as well. The beads are in a geometric pattern with some zig zags on the flap. The bag has a clasp and white lining. There is a small pocket on the inside of the clutch. The interior of the clutch has some toning but it is in good condition. There is a white strap that is attached to the bag. It has the following dimensions: 5.5″x8.5″. If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to ask.
