Group of Authentic Hippie Clothing c1972. The lot consists of a group of homemade authentic hippie clothing c1972. Featured is a group of authentic homemade clothing from a travelling hippie c1972 with 10 pieces with shirts, skirts, and other pieces of fabric. There is a pink cotton shirt that is a sz Small with an ombre effect as the shirt gradually gets darker as it reaches the hem. The front shows a scene with a sun in the sky, two homes, trees, boats, and a humanoid figure. There are a few small spots but it is otherwise in good condition. On a sz Large (42-44) cotton Fruit of the Loom shirt is a tie dye pattern in purple. Most of the shirt has purple dye through there are parts that are a solid white and some areas with pink. There are a few spots on the front. A long cotton dress is included in this lot with a V-neck and short sleeves. The dress has sharp zig zags of dye which are in brown and red with some bits of yellow featured on the white areas. The dress is in good condition. There is a solid blue shirt with a vibrant colorful scarf that is paired with it. The shirt is made from cotton and it is in good condition. The scarf that it is paired with is tie dye with pink and purple being the most prominent colors. It is in good condition. Additionally included in this lot is a long light blue skirt with a zipper on the back alongside two hook and eye clips. The skirt is home dyed with the blue taking up much of the color with some light spots. There are several spots on the skirt. Additionally featured is a brown cotton shirt with an elephant on its center with a crown-like shape floating above it. The elephant is in shades of brown and yellow which are the same shades that make up the floating crown. The same image is repeated on the back which features many decorative holes of varying sizes. The short sleeves of this shirt are a rusty orange hue. Featured as well are three pieces of dyed fabric in varying lengths and colors. There is one piece that is primarily pink and made of cotton. Streaks of a darker pink covers it randomly. A blue piece of fabric has some grey streaks and a patch of green. The other piece of fabric that is included was hand dyed in Egypt and it is labeled as a batik. The pieces in this lot ranges from good to fair condition.
