Antique 19th Century Chinese Hand Embroidered Sleeve Bands. The lot consists of two Chinese hand embroidered sleeve bands. Featured are two antique Chinese hand embroidered silk sleeve bands. One is on a pink silk background with florals in pink, blue, purple, and taupe with butterflies featured as well on a delicately beautiful panel. The sleeve band measures 3.5″x35.5″ and with a few frays primarily along the edges and a small hole, it is in good/fair condition. Featured as well is a yellow silk sleeve band with florals that are hand embroidered. The florals are featured in shades of blue with green, purple, orange, yellow, and white features as well for accents. Butterflies are shown to be in movement going from one flower to another. The panel of florals occupies 2.75″x19.5″ of the sleeve band and the rest is covered in a subtle yellow damask pattern. It measures 3.5″x37″ and it is in good/fair condition with toning at the bottom of the sleeve band alongside a small rip. If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to ask.
