Vintage Sewing Patterns and Advertising. The lot consists of five pieces of vintage sewing patterns and two advertisements. Featured are five packages of printed patterns to make skirts, dresses, and blouses with two fashion news advertisements being included as well. The printed patterns are by McCall and Simplicity with them including the measurements. The packaging is in fair condition with each packaging showing signs of toning alongside some rips to the paper packaging. Each printed pattern kit still includes the guides for construction. The two advertising magazines are for Butterick and Macy’s. The respective magazines features the latest fashion trends for that year and season with Macy’s being April 1946 and Butterick being May 1939. Macy’s catalog features various dresses, slacks, jackets, and more while Butterick primarily on dresses and skirt suits. Both editions are in fair condition with loose pages, rips, and toning on the pages. If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to ask.
