Description
Antique c1840-50s Infant’s Gown. The lot consists of an antique white infant gown. Featured is a white sheer infant’s dress with handmade lace at the sleeves and waistband. There are small-scale geometric prints that are present. A line is at the bodice are and there are pleats down the front of the dress. There are glass buttons down the front as a closure with one missing. Lace trim is present at the front opening and on the cuffs with the dress being a mix of hand and machine made. There is some discoloration at the bottom alongside a small hole and it is in good/fair condition. If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to ask.
